If elected, I will fight for:

 

Safe and Clean Communities

• Launch a quarterly  district-wide "Clean Up and Revitalize" campaign as a means to reduce violence and attract business

• Advocate for community-based crime prevention to build trust, and improve coordination between law enforcement, social services, and community organizations.

• Create Parental Engagement Initiative  to reduce violent crime through increased parental involvement, education, and community empowerment

Uplifting Youth, Seniors, and Families

• Partner with churches and community spaces to create after-school programs for tutoring, sports, and mentorship.

• Collaborate with businesses to provide job training and opportunities for youth and parents.

• Expand recreational programs for seniors, children, and teens to offer more safe, engaging activities.

Equitable Development & Economic Opportunity

•  Advocate for affordable housing to protect working families and seniors from being priced out and increase residents moving into the district

• Attract businesses like pharmacies, restaurants, and grocery stores by fostering collaboration across business, government entities, nonprofits and community organizations

•  Implement business development incentives, invest in infrastructure, foste rentrprenuership and promote collaboration among businesses, government, non profits and community organizations.
